All of our income is through on-going fundraising events, adoptions, and donations of time, money, and resources from individuals and businesses. We do not receive any municipal or state funding. Monetary donations go toward food, veterinary care, and the fund for the no-kill Pet Refuge.
The NKEAPL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Sponsoring a dog kennel or cat cage
Perhaps you would like to sponsor a dog kennel or cat cage in memory of a loved one or beloved pet, to advertise your business, or to show your support. A permanent plaque will be installed at each kennel or cage.
Cat cages (stainless steel):
30" x 24": $300.00
48" x 24" extra large (double): $475.00 (this size
accommodates a mom cat and her kittens)
Dog kennels:
Dog kennels range from $1,000 to $2,000.
Extra large kennels are $3,500 for a kennel that is 10' x 12'
outside and 12' x 3' inside.

United Way workplace giving
You might not be aware that our organization can be named as benefactor for automatic payroll deductible donations. Although the North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League is not listed on the preprinted form you receive at your workplace, you can designate us by writing NKEAPL, INC. #8362 in the space provided under "Donor Options" or "Donor Choice - Specific Agencies". You can also check with your campaign coordinator if you have any questions.
