All of our income is through on-going fundraising events, adoptions, and donations of time, money, and resources from individuals and businesses. We do not receive any municipal or state funding. Monetary donations go toward food, veterinary care, and the fund for the no-kill Pet Refuge.
The North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League (NKEAPL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

United Way workplace giving
You might not be aware that our organization can be named as benefactor for automatic payroll deductible donations. Although the NKEAPL is not listed on the preprinted form that you receive at your workplace, you can designate us by writing NKEAPL, INC. #8362 in the space provided under "Donor Options" or "Donor Choice - Specific Agencies". You can also check with your campaign coordinator if you have any questions.
